Snake Eyes Viper Ti-464 Driver Head:
In the Viper Ti-464 Driver Head, Snake Eyes introduces
the next generation of the popular Viper titanium driver family
featuring the maximum allowable size by the USGA (460cc) and
incorporating four screw weight ports allowing ball flight
customization. The cast 6-4 titanium body is broader than the previous
Viper Ti-460 pulling the CG further back from the face to increase
launch angle while lowering the spin rate on the lower lofts. A
plasma-welded titanium face plate insures maximum power by eliminating
the heavier weld bead from traditional tig welding. This increases the
sweet spot on the face allowing for a more elastic transfer of energy
when struck off-center.
Twin triangular sole cavities increase the structural mass in the
back section of the sole adding to the weight that can be housed in the
ports. The driver comes standard with twin 5-gram weights in middle rear
ports and twin blue anodized aluminum 2-gram weights in the heel and toe
for neutral flight. The weights can be interchanged between the ports to
customize ball flight. Placing the heavier weights in the heel ports
produces a draw flight pattern while moving weights to the toe create a
fade flight pattern. Each head is shipped with a wrench and a guide for
customizing ball flight.
The deep black paint is finished off with a blue metal flake adding
to the Viper Ti464's rich appearance.
