The higher-strength, beta titanium crown is 40 to 50 percent thinner
than many other 460cc titanium driver heads - 0.5mm rather than the
0.8mm to 1mm of most crowns. This thin crown allows the center of
gravity (CG) to shift rearward, raising the launch angle while keeping
the spin low. Those with a faster-than-average (85mph-plus) swing speed
will find this especially effective in achieving maximum distance.
